Sensory Friendly Nutracker

Sophie's Potluck is getting group tickets for the Sensory Friendly Nutcracker performance!

Please note the registration cutoff date! We are registering and cutting off early, as tickets are publicly on sale on August 5th and we want to make sure we get tickets for anyone who wants to attend with our group



Sensory-friendly performances are relaxed performances that are open to all. It is a judgment-free zone where theater staff and patrons accept (and expect) extra sound or movement in the audience and where we celebrate the myriad ways audience members can experience a live stage performance. Accommodations include lower sound levels, elimination of some special effects and house lighting at about 20%. We also offer quiet areas and activities in the lobby before and during the show and have additional staff on hand to help create a safe and welcoming theater experience.

We at Sophie's Potluck understand that our special needs friends have care beyond family and friends. Many of us have outside resources that would like to attend events, and while we have many where adults are free to attend, unfortunately this is not one of them and we ask that they register to attend.
